August 31, 1935 - January 25, 2018
Ronald A. Brown of Malvern, a lifelong resident of Chester County, died on January 25 2018 at 82 years of age. He was first and foremost a family man, who loved his dear wife of 55 years, Julie, his two children Chip (Amy) and Melody (Chuck), six grandsons and one granddaughter. Ron is also survived by his sister, Nancy Abramson, nephew David (Leah) and their two daughters. Ron had a 47 year career as a personal trust and investment executive in the trust departments of Girard Trust, Core States and Wachovia Banks. He was a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College, The Wharton School, Graduate Management Program and Northwestern University, National Graduate Trust School. Ron was an athlete at Kennett High School and F&M College and a tennis player later in life. He was a member of the Society of the Sons of the American Revolution and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He will be greatly missed by his family. Funeral service is private. Burial will be in the Washington Memorial Chapel Churchyard.
